Safe to run Arctic without filters to clean?

Hi all, I want to flush out my Arctic Spa Summit with some Ahh-some.  I assume its safe to run the jets without the filters in place??

Place filters in foot well while you purge then rinse and clean. Also don't let gunk dry on walls of spa when you drain or you will have a time getting it off. Recommend you visit Ahh-Some website for full directions.

The Arctic Spa pro filters aren't meant to be cleaned...  :(

I'll likely put new filters in after I complete the purge.
