New Model Ozonator in Older Spa?

I have a 2010 Sundance Cameo 880 Series spa w/ CD Ozonator.  Ozonator needs replacing.  Can a newer model Ozonator be installed in the spa or do I have to stick with the original model (which now due to being older - costs more that the newer models).  Are all CD Ozonators pretty much the same...or are there issues to be aware of when replacing a CD Ozonator?  Thanks.
