Price of Bullfrog A8

KLloyd:
Hello All.

Newbie here.  Like many folks, I have been on the hunt for a hot tub to add some comfort and extra leisure for the family.   I found a Connecticut dealer (1.5 hours away) who sales Sundance and Bullfrog.   He wants $17K for a Bullfrog A8 and $21K for a Sundance 880 Aspen.  Both include delivery, a cover and lift.  Do these prices seem reasonable, given the run on hot tubs across the country??  I’m considering a trip to wet test the spas later this week.

Thanks in advance for your insights.

Red MC:
We almost ordered an A8 two weeks ago.  We were quoted $13,599 with an estimated delivery date of Nov 17.

We didn't pull the trigger because my wife had a thing for the D1 Amore Bay, which she subsequently wet tested and wasn't thrilled with.

If the dealer in CT has an A8 on hand or on its way, then I can understand the $17k price.  But if he's just going to put an order in the queue, I'd say he's gouging.

BW13:
17 for an A8 is too much.  I paid 10,500 for an A7 and it included cover, delivery and lift as well.

I paide $13,900 for and A8L in Colorado over Memorial Day with a sale price and have a $500 rebate that will process after it is delivered. Price includes the normal cover, lift assist, steps and 6 months of chemicles.

The dealer quoted $18,000 as the non-sale price and was unwilling to negotiate below the sale price at all. I think it will be hard to get a deal with the current backlog, but I also question a lot of the prices you see on here. I am happy for the buyers if they are legit, but many seem too good to be true.

Frogger:
I paid 12000 on my A8D but Eos, stereo, circ pump, and Orchard color ($300 add on for that!) Pushed my total  to $13,450...not including sales tax of course. It all seems in the ballpark of the going rate for the A8 series of spas.
