Jacuzzi Jim:
At 150f to 160 that us running pretty hot. Does the internal switch shut it off, or does it keep running?
Tman122:
If it is running hot (there are a ton of variables that determine what is to hot) it should throw a breaker before it burns up.......assuming it is on a proper GFCI

Jacuzzi Jim: On the motor plate is information about thermally protection but never switch off it is overheat but running.
Tman122: Yes i have GFCI (current protector) 30mA but never switch off.
Jacuzzi Jim:
Yeah like Tman said a lot of variables there as to why it's over heating. It looks pretty old? I'd say you have 2 options, run it as is till it dies. Which guessing won't be long.
Or I would replace it. No idea price wise where your at, but it would be your best bet.
