Tripping GFI

Our Bullfrog R7B was purchased July 2017.  Everything was running just fine until the water change this past weekend.  I shutoff the power at the outdoor GFI, like normal, drained the hot tub, refilled it and then reset the power on the GFI to turn it back on.  The breaker trips after 2 seconds.  I tried it a couple of times and the same result.  The breaker inside the house has not tripped.  I'm sure it's a coincidence but any ideas?  Thanks.

I would guess bad heater.  Heaters will trip the breaker almost immediately if bad.
