What type of bromine do you like and why?

We are new hot tub owners (had one but about 8 years ago).  The dealer start up pack of chemicals provided us with a one step bromine.  I remember using the bromine tablets in the past and that worked well.   I feel like i have confused myself with all the reading i have done. 

If I have started with the one step bromine can i use the tablets in a floater to maintain the bromine or do i stick with just using the one step product?

Any benefits to one over the other?

I've been using the bromine floater w/1" tabs and a spa frog mineral stick for a year now with great results!
