Hot Springs Freshwater vs Leisure Time products

Our Caldera Vanto hot tub came with the Hot Springs Freshwater line of chemicals. We've since run out of a few things. Specifically, the stain and scale defense. I bought the Leisure Time Stain and Scale Defender and I'd like to know if the Freshwater line contains fewer harsh chemicals and is a preferred product? Thanks!
