Bullfrog pillows

Jacuzzi Jim:
Pillows are hit and miss as far as quality. Some seem to last 2 to 4 years if lucky, some less.   Ozone and over dosing chems are extremely hard on them.  I haven't had pillows in my Jacuzzi for a couple of years now and I don't really miss them.  Honestly I think most manufacturers could get rid of them and not skip a beat.  Warranty is usually a year, if at all.  I will replace them once up to a year, that's it.

Replacement prices are ridiculous for them, and I usually suggest people remove them if leaving for a while or periods of non use of the spa.  They would probably last longer under the water vs above it.

Hottubguy:
I don’t think any manufacturer warranties them. Most fail quickly due to water chemistry problems. When you shock do you leave the cover off the spa for awhile after?  I’ve only seen them fail that quickly on one of my customers Caldera Spas. He had followed all our directions and I ended up just giving him new ones. Haven’t had a issue since

I had a caldera for 15 years and never had an issue.

These bullfrog ones just felt cheap from the start.

The pillows on my sundance optima started to peel after about a year, year and a half. At three years I was tired of looking at them and removed them. Don't really miss them.

The thing with the bullfrog pillows is you can't really get rid of em.  They are what holds down the jet paks
