Rolling in the snow

I heard that some people who use hot tubs sometimes roll in the snow and then get back in the tub.  A couple of weeks ago we figured we'd give it a try.

It had snowed the day before, so I assumed the snow would still be powdery.  It wasn't.  It was a bit crunchy.  I even scaped my elbow!

What I wasn't prepared for was the fact that upon getting back in the hot tub, the water actually felt cold for a minute!

Has anyone else tried this?

We're not likely to do it again anytime soon!

My sons supposedly did the stand in the snow thing in fresh snow. They also throwed snowballs at each other's backs and chests.

I've had my oldest and a friend jump into 75º pool water after being in the tub. NOT ME!!!

I bought the tub for the HOT water. I hate going in cold (below 90) water.

I've done it a couple times just to see.  But it has to be nice fluffy snow.  
It's an interesting sensation, but not for everyone.

Once Mrs. Brewman did a back flop on what she thought was deep fluffy snow, but it was hard frozen, crusted over snow which had melted a bit and re-froze.  She wasn't hurt by the fall, but it was hard for me not to LMAO once I knew she was ok.

Some people do the same thing from sauna's, which are quite a bit hotter than hot tub water.

My freinds love to roll in the snow.   I personally don't do it when I am  sitting int the tub, but when friends get togethor and folks get a bit silly, eventually some one is rolling in the snow.  

New Years Eve, several folks were running around the house,  rolling in the snow, and jumping into the tub.  People may or may not have been naked while doing this.  ::)  8)

Rolling in the snow, it's a stinging sensation for me,  and jumping back in the tub, almost feels like burning.  

it's quite invigorating to say the least.   ;)

What is this "snow" you speak of?

It's 68* and rising at 9:30 this morning.  We haven't had rain in over two months and it is dry as a bone.

About all you can roll around in here are pine cones and dog squat, and that ain't much fun.
