this might just be a little more of an inside joke between my freinds......but i had to share! be funnier if it was a vid link, but oh well, enjoy the small story (fyi, i only find the 1st part of the story humorus...mainly the title!!)

Pack of Angry Chihuahuas Attack Officer

FREMONT, Calif. - A pack of angry Chihuahuas attacked a police officer who was escorting a teenager home after a traffic stop, authorities said.

The officer suffered minor injuries, including bites to his ankle, Detective Bill Veteran said.

The five Chihuahuas escaped the 17-year-old boy's home and rushed the officer in the doorway Thursday, authorities said. The teenager had been detained after the traffic incident.

The officer was treated at a hospital and returned to work less than two hours later

There was an incident in northern IN (Gary, I believe).
A police officer tried to shoot at a pitbull that was charging her and hit her fiance instead.

What was that J. Geils song - Oh Yeah --- Love Stinks!!

The pepper spray...We were at our beach house and my dog (a lab doberman mix) came running over to the electric meter man. She wasn't going to bite him she just ran up to him. He didn't hesitate one second but sprayed her in the face with the pepper spray. I took her in and began to wash her face and eyes..trying to understand that this guy had probably been bitten before and she was a big dog...I was at the kitchen window when the he walked by and I asked him the best way to stop the smarting..he said about 2 words and she flew through the screen door...he wasn't as fast on the draw the second time...

I have mace and Taser training coming up in a few weeks, I'm sure we'll cover the ways to recover from pepper spray.
That's too bad that the meter reader felt compelled to mace your dog, but I suppose you're right- he's probably been chomped before.
