First time Hot Tub Owner

As a first time owner of hot tub I am using the bromine system. I was told to shock weekly. Using 100 gm of Refresh and 25 gm of Peak Boost. I dump the Refresh in and circulate water 1 hour than add Peak Boost. Is that okay?
