Is this a energy efficient tub and how about comfort for a person over 6ft tall. I am also comparing a jacuzzi j 245.. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

What's comfortable to me may not  be for you. If comfort is important to you it is imperative that you wet test. And Marquis has a good reputation for as energy efficient as their competition.

For optimum energy efficiency have them price it with full foam insulation. It's a great tub. We sell quite a few of them
