Jacuzzi 230 CD ozonator has big bubbles

When I purchased my Jacuzzi 230 CD in Oct 2011, I had the optional ozonator fitted.

Initially the bubbles were quite small, but recently I have noticed that the bubbles are quite big and you can hear a burble with the lid closed from the popping bubbles.

Why would the bubbles get bigger over time?

There has been no change in water quality, and I used Chlorine with it.

Jacuzzi Jim:
  If anything it has to do with the mazzi injector not the ozonator.    You might open the front up and take a look at the check valves also.
