British letting Yanks keep the tubs
Guzz:
Like all the banter, but it did get me home sick for some things, like..... Piping hot fish & chips being eaten out of newspaper, with mushy peas, messy but memorable, draft boddingtons, not warn not frozen but cool enough to slide down a thirsty throat like milk, yorkshire puddding with gravy, food that is served hot on a hot plate, and for anyone who thinks british food is boring try marmite on toast..mmmmmm scones with clotted cream & strawberrry jam, eating a cornish pastie straight out of the oven while walking around the barbican docks in Plymouth, real bacon & eggs on fried bread followed by kippers for breakfast. Help I need a cardiologist to unblock my arteries, but it was nice remebering.

Dang Guzz, you've got me hungry now!
In your Royal Navy travels, what were some of the more interesting dishes you tried?
Terminator
Guzz:
Babies heads, navy slang for canned steak and kidney pudding, looked like it's name. Lots of the food I tried on my travels I only ate because my insides were pickled with the local booze. I had a meal in a village in Singapore which I remember being fantastic, went back the next day sober and found the place crawling in roaches & flies with rats running under the tables bigger than what you have in your spas inTexas.
