We are not tall (5'8 and 5'3"").  It is going on a deck.  The dealer told us there is a larger circ pump that turns the water over 7 more times per day than the 355.  That coupled with the clear ray and would eliminate the use of chlorine.  we could just shcok the water with a non chlorine mineral sanitizer when we got out.  There are also some calf jets in the lounger that seem nice.

Maryphil can I ask if the jets felt much different on the lxl from the 355.  We did test the 355 and found them a little week.

  J-355 has the exact same circulating pump a the JLX  Unless it's a 2011 J-355  And you will still need some chlorine depending on use.

Thanks Jim.  The guy is a Jacuzzi rep at a home show.  frustrating.  Can you tell me the main differences between the two tubs (besides the obvious appearance).  It would make my decision much easier.  I have heard some say the jxl is shallow, but I did not see that.
