Cleaning Filters in Dishwasher

Someone told me that you can Clean your filters in the dishwasher and it works great as long as they are standing up......Just wondering if anyone had tried it.Johnny thunders

It's just dead skin, sweat, body fluids, oils, lotions and such... Why not!!  :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

It's not like you eat and drink off of those dishes or anything!  ;)

I've heard of people doing that too but I chose not to.

If the water is above 140 degrees F you'll damage the filter.

Steve makes a good point but if that doesn't bother you just make sure the drying cycle is ABSOLUTELY off or you'll be sorry.
