Halloween Poll

ok, a 3 legged "princess" cat and darth vader doggie from brook (almost have to see that to belive it :D ) and East handing out NRA/credit apps......and here i thought halloween was about running around, trick'er treatin'.
my usual hand out- resees cups, m&m's, smartees, and whoppers.
2 pcs. per kid w/ an attempt at a costume.
3 for the little ones (4-8). big smile from them when you show them they are not getting a notepad. yes, a note pad. it was a terrible childhood......jk.
now, the babies-4 year olds, ill ask the mom if a hadfull is ok.
the later it gets, i just shove the bowl out "take 2, only 2. im faster than i look" ;D

I'll take pics of the dog and try to get the cat... she's not real freindly since she lost the leg. She pretty much hides under the bed when she's not eating. I don't even know if she'll fit into the costume this year. She's gained a lot of weight since the incident. Hard to get your exercise when you are missing a back leg and not allowed outdoors anymore.

Not to bring up painfull memories....but what happened? I must have missed the story.
Well, while dogs/cats are dressing like people, my niece is dressing up as a bumble bee. Maybe ill share, shes a cutie.

She was asleep on our front porch and 2 loose dogs who were roaming the city (more than a mile from home) attacked her dragged her into the street and tore her leg 1/2 off. $1000+ later we had it amputated and nursed her back to health. The sad thing is these dogs were out less than a month earlier and had killed a cat in someones garage. The owners should have faced charges in my opinion. Instead they euthanized one of the dogs and nothing happened to the other. They were owned my daughter in law, mother in law combo and lived next door to each other, and apparently ot out and caused mischief together. I was saddened that their dog had to die because they couldn't keep their pets controlled, but better that then they someday harm a child.

Bill is sorta running along behind us with our training wheels off and when we start to lean to far to the side he props us back up. ;)
