Jacuzzi 470 questions

--- Quote from: hudler on July 29, 2011, 10:36:49 am ---Hi, I purchased my 470 a couple weeks ago. I haven't gotten the site ready for it yet..but its close ;D Anyway my questions are
1 Does the 2010 470 tub come standard with the remote control that displays temp etc? I bought a tub that was on the floor in the showroom, never hooked up etc. They cannot find the remote for this tub and since it doesn't have a stereo in it they are wondering if it even came with the remote. I say yes the remote is standard on the 2010 470. Am I right?
2 I am ready to move this tub to it's new home. I am making a dolly for it with rubber wheels and going to move the spa through my gate on it's side. When I move the spa, equipment side should be down, right? That is where the weight is and that only makes sense, but I want to double check.
3 When the electrician installs the tub, I need him to change the factory set jumper from 50a to 60a. I know this is an easy task, will there be instructions inside the panel showing where the pins should be moved to? No info in my manual regarding this.
Thanks for any info on these questions!!

I have had a Jacuzzi J-365 since 2004, Should have bought a Caldera. We bought Jacuzzi because we thought it was a brand name you can trust. Since 2004 we have had to replace the mother board, control panel, heating element and as of today the hot tub is in over heat again and the led lights do not work. Did i mention that i have the beautiful blue acrylic model that the dealer gave me something to clean it with and it stained the finish. I am so disgusted with Jacuzzi that i just want to rip it out and seal up the hole in my deck. I will never buy another hot tub....so disappointed with this hot tub.

Would love to see some pictures. How much did you pay and what did the dealer include? I just got a price of $12,700 plus tax and that included a Cover Lifter, J-1000 Stereo, Steps plus Delivery and Set-up. If i decide to buy it, I hope I am not getting ripped off. :P

I wouldn't sell that spa at that low of price... especially with the stereo.
