Google Chome browser
wmccall:
Anyone using yet? I just started and seem pretty bug free so far, better than many early versions of browsers I've seen.
fdegree:
I have tried it a little. So far, no problems. It seems to launch faster and load pages faster than Firefox (I've never been a fan if IE).
I still prefer Firefox because some of the customizable features and add-ons are quite useful. Google Chrome does not seem to have any of these features...yet. Google Chrome is relatively small and uses less resources. If they ever offer the same features and/or add-ons as Firefox, I will likely use it over Firefox.

On my limited experience so far, your assessment seems accurate. At work, I am tied to IE6, not even 7 and I have a dozen other applications open, so being able to use this one helps me keep my computer from freezing up while keeping an eye on you guys during the day.

OK, Bill, I thought I would give it a try. I liked it for the limited time that I used it, but it locked up my other browsers. You use AOL right? WEll it locked up my desktop access to AOL and IE. Not sure why. I know I don't need AOL on my desk top, I can still access it through Chrome, but I have AOL 9.0 and I really like it..guess I missed something.. :-/ Don't understand why they can't work independant of each other?

Why don't you throw a shoe at me? That is less of an insult than calling me an AOL user!
(I used to work for a company that AOL (ao-hell) bought out and laid off 1500 of my closest friends. )
Did you uncheck the box that said make Chrome your default browser?
