Yes I ride but cant figure out how to post a pic here :( I have 2000 HD softail..hence the name on here. I have been riding for over 30 yrs, have gone across country and all over..nothing better then the wind in your face

When did Indian start using the "R" in motorcycle. When Indian first started production in 1901 it was Indian Motocycle, now its Indian motorcycle? Does anyone know? I have always wondered how that came about. My fiance who passed away in 2008 had a beautiful 1948 Indian Chief, all stock..his parents sold the bike after he died..I wish I would have had the money to buy it
