jacuzzi J-480 waterfall/ozonator function

For those of you that have a J-480/470 with ozone, do you turn off the waterfall when you close up the tub for the day? I was reading that it is recommended to do this in order to allow the ozonator to work at its most optimal level? Is this true?

It shouldn't matter.

2007 J-480.  Waterfall has stayed on for 3 years straight.  No issues at all.  We use N2 cartridge w/ chlor & mps.  Fairly heavy use w/ wife & 2 kids.

I've ran mine both ways, and seen absolutely no difference.

2003 370 & run waterfall and ozone 100% of the time.  There was an issue with the waterfall on these older models (rubber seal) but mine was replaced 2 years ago under factory warranty
