2010 price for Jacuzzi j-325

(1/1)

Anne325:
I am a first-time buyer and would appreciate some help. I'm considering a Jacuzzi j-325 (don't want a big tub).

Can someone please tell me what would be a good price to pay for it? I saw a thread from 2007, but that was then...

Also, would it be ok to set it on base rock instead of a concrete pad? Would this void the warranty in any way?

Any updated comments on the model or suggestions for another reliable brand for comparative size?

Thank you!

Anne

I'm not the best one to quote prices though I'm sure a few Jacuzzi dealers and owners can respond but as far as other comparable brands to the J325, I'd use the internet to check on brands like Caldera, D1, Hot Spring, Marquis and Sundance. In each case you'll find a dealer locator on their website so you can enter your zip code and find out if you have one of their dealers in your area.

Jacuzzi Jim:
Depending where you are high 5s to mid  6000 range would be fair.   Much depends on whats included with the spa as well?  As far as a base goes, pavers, cement pad or even a good base of crushed rock would work.  As level as possible.  The J-325 is a nice choice, not to big for 2 not to small for 4.

Anne325:
Thanks for the info. Will try it out tomorrow.

ejf The Spa Guy:
I would do a internet search on Jacuzzi and other top brands, D1, Hot Springs, Jacuzzi, Sundance,Marquis, to find comparable models. once you have done that you can do a search for local dealers who sell the specific brands and make some calls to see the pricing of them, alot will depend on location your are , and inventory the dealer has, if they have been sitting on a while or new stock....good luck
