Back in the darkages of the mid 80's when only colleges and businesses had email, I received a message from a woman complaining about her boss, who she named in the email.  Of course, it wasn't intended for me but for a friend of her's at work.  We worked for the same company but in different cities.  Just for laughs, I replied to her message to tell her she sent this to me by mistake, so I forwarded it to her boss.  I don't think I have ever received such a quick email response back.  ;D

Long story short, we ended up being email buds and then actually met for dinner and drinks.  We hit it off and ended up dating for about a year or so.  Internet dating at its earliest form.  That's definitely an email she wishes she would have never sent...

Vinny:
Bonnie,

I believe what trucks are for. My son wants a truck for some reason, probably to go 4 wheeling in.

There is a young man around my neighborhood that has a 4x4 of some sort that comes around every so often with about 3" of mud on the thing.

I remember back in the 80's that we had a snow storm in NYC and some person in a jeep came down my street and must have gotten his gearboxes stuck in the snow because all I can remember is him sitting in the middle of the narrow street and all 4 tires were spinning.

I believe Bill said it with "because he can".

If it didn't get any worse than what's shown in the photo, I would agree and say not such a big deal.  It's fun to play with a truck, and post it on Facebook to show your friends you're cool.  :)  Now, Boni is saying it got deeper, and I agree if he's getting it above the door panels on such a nice truck it's not responsible.  There are the minor challenges you do in your nice truck, and the muddin' you do in your beater truck.

Bonibelle:
I wish now that I bought an older truck that he could do stuff like that in...if I would have known that was what he wanted to do :-\...I guess what make me nuts is that he doesn't even want to haul firewood for me in it...that might dirty the bedliner :o...yet driving in a creek is ok?
I don't even want to think of what would happen to my insurance premiums if he had an accident there or even got stuck real bad...Darn kids... >:(
