Experience with Jacuzzi Spa Pads

(1/1)

Jeanessa:
Greetings,

Does anyone out there have experinece with using the Jaccuzi spa pads, instead of the concrete, or wood foundation for the 470 spa's.

I would like to hear the good, bad and the ugly.

Thanks,
Jeanessa

ChevyB:
yep...worked well.  A bit pricy to buy but we had them included in the purchase.  The nice thing is if you sell or move and take the tub you can take your foundation with you, toss some sod down and its like its never been there.  They have worked well.  Better then cement?  doubtfull, nothing will beat a concrete foundation for the tub.  They were easy to install, and have not budged a inch so no complaints.

Jeanessa:
Good to hear ChevyB.

How did you prepare the foundation for you pad?

Any advice is most appreciated.

Sorry to jump in but that is a great question. We have customers that think because you get the pads you can just throw them down and go.

Have a flat level surface that is packed down really good and you'll be fine.

ChevyB:
Yep agree....just dug out the sod, leveled and packed with some crushed rock that i had from other stuff, not deep just enough to make a nice base and dropped the pads in place.
