Jacuzzi 335 vs. 270

I'm buying my 1st hot tub and was impressed with Jacuzzi's. I went to a dealer that had a 335 floor model from 2007, filled with water on sale for $6400 with lifter and steps but no stereo. The dealer said he had so many electrical problems with Jacuzzi tubs that he was not getting any more and only selling D1 tubs. He did say that the 2007 and 2009 models were identical and I would get a full warrenty. I found another dealer who said he could get a new 335 tub for $8300. He also said he could get me a new 270 for $7299 but no floor display to look at.I'm hoping someone could point me in the right direction as to wheather I'd be better off paying $2000 more and buying new and if the 270 is a comparable tub to the 335?

Really? Two many electrical problems. That's a new one......

hottubdan:
Get the '07 335.  You might even be able to get a better price.  Just make sure you know who is doing the warranty work.  I am not sure it would have a full warranty based on manufacture date.

Jacuzzi Jim:
Electrical problems pretty rare, more likely something else going on with the dealer?

An 07 floor model for 6400.00 pretty stiff, were selling 09s at the fair this week for 7400.00    Offer him 5500 or less, see if he jumps!  Also to have another dealer so close selling Jacuzzi seems strange, unless he just picked them up?  Like any spa Jacuzzi can and does have issues time to time, but electrical problems not very often!!

What about the 270 model ? The store did not have one on display, but on paper it is a much bigger hot tub and for $800 more I would get a brand new hot tub compared to a 2 year old 335 model. What is the best hot tub to get under 8 or 9 thousand ? Thanks for the advice !!
