The inside of the building experienced a significant amount of damage and it was unclear if the building would reopen, officials said.

If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

The fact that the factory was damaged that bad (if the story is accurate) to the point of questioning whether the factory could be repaired yet no one was seriously hurt is VERY fortunate.

Perhaps that's the good thing about it happening on a Sunday.. of course, had it been during the week, with lots of employees there, it probably would have been put out before the fire department was ever called.

We had a fire back in 1998 (caused by a tenant). Lost the entire building (it burned so well it made CNN). They figured the fire was burning for quite some time before smoke was noticed outside and the fire department called. Inside a sealed up warehouse, a fire can smolder for a long time before being noticed

I got an email from their tech support on Monday so they seem to be up and running again.

ummmmmmmmmm, yeah  ;D

After our little fire, which I heard about at 3:30 am, by 9:30am I had 6 phone lines and our 800 number set up in my living and dinning room (phone lines are still here, he!! if I'm going to pay the phone company the $300 they want to come take it out). By 10:30 my garage was stocked with inventory. Actually sold a hot tub around noon. Course it took us 3 months to ship it out  ;)  UPS came by about 4 to pick up packages that were ordered that day. BUT, the LAST thing I would have called us was "up and running"....though we did make payroll that week  ::) Oh, and I can answer your email from anywhere in the world I can get an internet connection (did so from Rome a few weeks ago).

Tspa actually called me today answering a question I had for them.

I asked them about the fire and they said it was really a non event and they are 100% up and running.

Thats the only thing they could say so its either true or its their standard answer for now until they regroup somehow so none of us really know.

On the other hand  :D I don't think you can really go off what the newspaper actually says. When we had our fire the news story estimated the damage/loss at 1/20th of what it actually was.
