Advice on personalized plates
wmccall:
We talked about some funny personalized plates. But here is some advice, if you have personalized plates, especially memorable ones, don't commit road rage.
This week I was heading up the intertate. It was 3 lanes wide. There were semis doing 55mph in the left and center lanes. 55mph is thier speed limit. Cars can go 65. I was in the right line getting off at the next exit less than 1/4 mile up the road. In this stretch of the highway, the exit ramp and the entrance ramp from the previous exit almost overlap. As I was getting ready to exit, this lady in a Red Excursion comes up the entrance ramp, looking straight ahead, cell phone glued to her head on the left side along with her hand. I've got a car behind me, no where to go, knowing she has a yield sign. She doesn't see me till we are inches apart. She hits the brakes, goes behind the semis, passes them gets, in my lane and his the brakes in front of me. She then speeds off, crossing white lines from the exit ramp back on to the highway cutting off more cars.
You should not do this if you have an easy to remember personalized plate and with a "Dublin Soccer" decal in the back window. (Dublin is a local suburb) Someday I will see that vehicle again. I will not forget.
Chas:
John Robert Kirkpatrick. Poor guy's plate simply said,
"JRK"
Which most folks took to mean
Jerk.

Today I saw a guy driving a Hummer H2, and the plate (didn't catch the state) was SMALL1. It couldn't have been referring to the vehicle.
