Safety
As we have stated before, water and electricity are a lethal mix, so make sure you have a certified electrician make any wiring changes or installations. This is not a DIY job for you. If you or wife, or friend is pregnant take the nine months as a no show at the hot tub. The elevated temperatures can be dangerous. Make sure you talk with your doctor. Even some children should not be exposed to the higher water temperatures. Again, a conversation with your doctor would be in order. And remember again, the installation of fencing or a cover so kids don’t fall or get in to the tub while it is filled. The cover should have a key to avoid any accidents. But even adults can have “accidents”, particularly when they have consumed too much alcohol. And even being in the hot tub while drinking can be dangerous…the hot tub has a dehydrating effect, and in tandem with the relaxing effect of the tub and alcohol as well, you could fall asleep in your spa, slip under and…well, just don’t drink alcohol and visit your spa.
