We purchased our Poseidon almost 2 years ago now and a week and a half ago we encountered a FLO error. I tried everything I could find online to remedy the problem myself but no luck. I called the "head office" in Red Deer, AB the next day and left a message for a call back. I did not receive a call back so I called the "head office" again the next day. I explained the issue and after explaining to the woman on the phone that I had already tried all the steps outlined in their documentation she agreed that a service call should be arranged. I did not have my serial number or anything right handy but rather than saying "no problem, I can look it up", I was told that she would take my name and get back to me in a few days because she was "swamped". Meanwhile I have a tub that is not heating or filtering.
I advised that was not good enough and was passed to someone else on the phone who took my information and said she would fax a request to the service tech and I would hear back in a few days. I waited a day and a half (all the while my tub is not filtering or heating) before I called the store and spoke with the "owner". It has not been a few days since then and today is the day my service call was to be filled.
I called the tech in the morning to establish what time he may be coming by as I would like to plan my day out. "Yeah, I am trying to do the same" he said rather rudely and suggested early afternoon. It is now 4:00pm and I finally received a response to a text I sent to him saying evening as I am his last stop.
I am disgusted by this level of service on an $11,000 hot tub that is only 2 years old. They were late with delivery, their "head office" (which is who they direct you to with any questions rather than the "owner" taking any responsibility at the store level) staff are useless and rude, and their service people (whom I suspect are just moonlighting as Dynasty Spas repair techs given the lousy electrical work done to install the tub in the first place) are tardy and ignorant to people's own schedules and lives.
I explained that was not good enough, was told

We looked at many other models, tried several and the family decided with the Dynasty Excalibur Model. We chose the pearl acrlic finish with grey panels Beautiful unit to look at. Very rich looking in appearance. My wife familyand I love it.
Date Purchased: June 2005
Price Paid: $7800

Pros:
Unit installed June 2005. The Titan 36 was developed between the 3000 and 4000 series Good size footwell and volcano footwell jet and others very good. All other jets to our satisfaction, really do their job. Seating is very comfortable for six people, two waterfalls, very well insulated. All controls lit with fibre optics a very nice touch at night and a main light. This model made for Trevi in Canada has 36 stainless steel jets and 1 circulating jet, plus four padded head rests. We are very happy and satisfied with our choice of hot tub. As for service, I have no comments for the monent as we did not require any. It's December 2005 and we are enjoying it. Another feature that is important for our climate, is the automatic winter mode, it will activate all jets if temperature within the inclosure reaches close to freezing approx. 40 degrees. With the artic foam package and the termal insulation and the thick panels approx. 1 inch thick makes for R27 factor. We would purchase anther one tomorrow. Satisfied customer for the unit. Tub measures 92"x 92"x 36"
Cons:
For the monent none. |

After two years, it is still a valuable part of our lives. I am encouraged by some improvements in newer Dynasty models. (Advantage line looks need) I discouraged they haven't updated their website in 2 years.
Date Purchased: 2/03
Price Paid: $6500
Recommend: Yes |
Pros:
Still runs great and gets lots of use. In first year, lost a spa pak, It was quickly replaced, no down time. I"ve been offered great deals on new models, but the wife won't part with this one :)
Cons:
Carpal tunnel jets useless, corrected in later designs, same with two smaller jets in footwell. Main foot jet is great. |
