Title: HydroPulse Alternative Faceplate
Post by: grayta on April 14, 2005, 12:48:37 pm
Does anyone have a HydroPulse alternative faceplate on their HotSpring Moto-Massage jet(s)?  If so, can you compare/contrast the feeling versus the standard faceplate?  Thanks.

Yes I do and yes I can!!!

The hydro-pulse plate has the s shaped curve in it, plus the holes are smaller, and there are more of them.  It is my favorite seat!  It feels like it snakes up and down your spine, and a little more pressure (or so it seems to me) than with the regular moto-massage!  The regular moto is good, but the hydro-pulse plate makes it great!  IMHO!!!!

I have recommended it highly to anyone who asked or was willing to listen!!!

Does that make sense?

Your not in sales are you Lori?  ;)

I think it was from Raiders of the Lost Ark,  "Snakes, anything but snakes!

No!   ;D ;)  Thank Goodness!

I didn't know how else to put it.  I guess if I worked for HotSprings, I would have better marketing skills!  LOL!

Yes, Indiana hated snakes.  Snakes don't bother me!  Spiders, now that is a different story!  :P

All a personal preference.  Had a gentleman return the faceplate the other day???????  Who knows!  Lori knows what she likes ;)  I could care less for the moto jet, but the double?  What a great change.

How different is the double on the 05's vs the regular moto-massage?

Very different. It adds a new dimension: for one thing it works the areas farther away from the center of the back.

The Moto has always worked a wide swath, now it does the whole back.

I am waiting to see if they offer a Hydro Pulse Plate for the "DX" as they call it.

I tested the 04 Envoy with the single and thought it was great.  I am leaning toward the 05 Vista and it has the double. I hope it feels as good! When I asked about the faceplate the sales person said the double was closer to that effect and that their was not a plate for the double. He said the double did not need a faceplate. Anyway would like to have tested the double.

Thanks for the input.  Did I read correctly that someone returned one?  So, if I buy it and it's not that enjoyable I can return it?  That'd certainly make me more inclined to buy one.  Or maybe I could ask my dealer to borrow one (I seem to remember seeing a faceplate leaning up against the wall in the show room, betcha that's what it was)?  That'd be even better!  :)

The dual is awsome!! It is very wide and does your whole back.

Sorry for the late return on the post, have to vacation at some point.  Yes, we let one of our customers return the face plate, and I will install it on one of my spas in the showroom.  We would rather our customers be happy with their purchase instead of unhappy with our customer service.
