Tom posted some pics of a Hydro spa over there and was talking about the insualtion inside the cabinet and comparing it to the foam in Arctic.  

Not realizing that a proper Thermal tub employs foam in it's insualtion, Greg jumps in and tries to embarass Tom. Once again the word "tool" comes quickly to mind.

I don't think Greg (he who kisses the saggin fat ass of Jim) knows too much about hot tubs in general.  

Greg, are you reading this?  You should do some homework before making fun of Tom. You look like a moron.  Honestly. Yopu've just proven to the world that you don't understand what you are talking about and will take your cues from Jimmy on when to laugh.

Oh boy.  Update on SteveL and his new Hydrospa over at the SpaSpecialista forum.

When we last left our story, SteveL had went out and purchased a Costco Spa based on Jim's recent 'recommendations'.  SteveL then reads Tom's review of the "big box" spa (which Jim invited Tom to post at his forum).  SteveL then sees GregG making fun of the spa.

It looks like SteveL is now having a bit of buyer's remorse.  He is asking why Jim recommended the Costco spa if it is so poorly built.  He says his wife is crying and he's asking whether he made a big mistake.  This poor guy is asking whether he has been mislead by Jim's 'recommendations'.  He apparently is of limited financial means with a baby on the way.  It really is pretty sad and not funny at all.

Looks like another Haven victim, and this time, Jim didn't even have to sell him a spa.  Sad.

I once read a description [at the time] that a common manifestation of Schizophrenia is the "I am Jesus [or God] Reincarnate!" syndrome. Which often evolves into wearing a robe and sandals and carrying on in a classical, traditional, "Biblical," [Jimmy Swaggert???] fashion. Sound familiar?

You are not smart enough to understand what I represent, because your ego is so HUGE and you think you are a messenger of God, but you are not. Yet in today's sermon Rev. Jim tells us:

Part of God's plan to keep the world going is to use a thing called delusion or Maya.  It is the cause of ignorance and that people will grope around in this darkness, thinking they are "illuminated", when in fact their beliefs are the major factor that keeps them in darkness.


Once again on Tuesday Jim tells us we don't know half of what he knows  (becasue he is so illuminated) but On Wednesday, Jim tell us that folks who think they are illuninated are in darkness.

I moved this because I did not want to detract from the more somber postings in the other thread....
Seems I find parallels to Jim in some of the oddest spots.  This is from a blog on a website for Golf....."September 1971 – I hang out my shingle and form my own golf course architecture firm (Hot tub shop), MacCallister and Associates. My brother Angus (Jon) lent me the money to open my doors — by this time he had become a financier on Wall Street (maybe not but at least Jon had money to loan) and forced me to desert my dream of two brothers (abusing his engineering label to Jim's benefit) building the most penal (hot tubs) championship golf courses in the game’s history. Business is tight. I have a series of disagreements with clients (ditto) and I have difficult time getting any of my designs built (super ditto) according to my own vision (Ah, delusion). With the benefit of hindsight, I can now see what the problem was. They were a bunch of YELLOW-BELLIED COWARDS! (This is humor in the blog and quite something different).  They lacked the fortitude to build the stiff, formidable tests of skill I envisioned.  December 1971 – Facing bankruptcy, I scale back my golf course architect business and am willing to accept more readily available commissions (someone's GOT to fall for my drivel); par 3s, miniature golf courses and golf range landscaping. I start to write a book on grand designs (i.e. induldged my fantasy of engineering knowledge) in golf course history (hot tub history) and visit publishing houses for possible backing (tried to get a job with Hot Springs).  
October 19, 1987 – By this time, I had actually managed to build a few courses (tubs). (See my portfolio.... see my website) But I lost everything when the stock market plummeted on Black Monday (gotta blame it on someone else because it couldn't be MY fault, Arjuna). All of my holdings were rather aggressively invested in pork belly futures on a tip I got from my brother (something about an abusive father goes in here). He has felt guilty about it ever since and to make amends he has been my benefactor (realizing his brothers pains, Jon tried to help his brother out by investing in his company). Drew- Love the reverend Jim thing.  Only the character in Taxi is WAAAAYYYY smarter tha our own reverend Jim.  Jim Jones is another reverend that comes to mind from time to time.  Maybe he can pick up some property in Ghana really cheap...........
